Position: Budtender / Assistant Office Manager – OG Gift Shop
Base Wage: DOE
Report to: Manager
Oregon Grown Gift Shop, a cannabis dispensary in Portland’s Montavilla neighborhood, is seeking an organized professional with cannabis industry experience to assist in the daily operations of the dispensary. Reporting to the Ops Manager, the Budtender / Office Assistant will provide a wide range of services and information to management. The prime candidate will display passion for the industry and champion best practices in a dynamic environment. The Budtender / Office Assistant will handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency, time management, developing office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures and inventory control.
Daily responsibilities will include:
•Participate in office staff activities and allocate available resources to ensure maximum efficiency and smooth workflow;
•Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency;
•Participate in Public Affairs related activities as required;
•Monitor and maintain office supplies and inventory and other general office duties as required.
•Associates Degree of Allied Science or equivalent training and education;
•1 years’ experience in a progressive role or administrative management experience;
•Experience with scheduling, inventory and sales tracking, budgeting and management;
•Display strong attention to detail and experience handling multiple responsibilities;
•Valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit;
•Knowledge of OLCC compliance software, Metrc;
•Knowledge of OLCC compliance software, MJ Freeway;
•In-depth understanding of data and administrative management practices and procedures;
•Sound knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures;
•Strong computer and technology skills;
•Problem solving and decision-making skills;
•Strong communication and presentation skills;
•Planning, organization, work and time management skills;
•Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operations;
•Customer service orientation and negotiation skills;
•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
•Communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization;
•Delegate, track and manage numerous activities, working with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines);
•Manage a diverse range of interpersonal and external relationships
