POSITION SUMMARY

The Delivery Agent provides transportation of product to customers. The Delivery Agent must provide superior customer service to all customers through accuracy of orders and timeliness of deliveries. The Delivery Agent must take calls, arrange routes, and package customer orders, record sales in the POS system, and handle cash transactions. The Delivery Agent must comply with all State and City regulations adopted for delivery. The Delivery Agent must maintain an organized environment and facility appearance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience providing excellent pickup and delivery service.
  • Ability to answer multi-phone line system.
  • Ability to maintain focus in an active environment.
  • Ability to make decisions as necessary with oversight when needed.
  • Ability to regularly stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Accurate data-entry and record keeping.
  • Attends all required training sessions on security, customer relations, and other topics critical to your employment.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a sales environment preferred.
  • Have a strong team ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of customer marijuana policy and law.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.
  • Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications. Experience with METRC and Green Bits preferred.
  • Reliable transportation a plus.
  • Solid mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Ability to upsell and cross sell inventory products and items.
  • Answer incoming calls for delivery orders.
  • Attends all required training sessions on security, customer relations, and other topics critical to your employment.
  • Coordinate with the Dispensary Manager as needed.
  • Creates transportation routes with the dispensary dispatcher to ensure his or her own safety and that of the customers receiving a delivery.
  • Educate customers on medicating options and methods, strain information, medicine effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all deliveries, transfers, and returns between Nevada Business Services Group locations, vendor locations, and customer residences in accordance with the state and standards set by Nevada Business Services Group.
  • Ensure accurate information is recorded for all customer registration, sales and preferences.
  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of deliveries through verification of all items received and delivered.
  • Maintain awareness of customer input and suggest changes to improve service or product.
  • Maintain knowledge of all medicine, products and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws.
  • Maintain organization of dispensary and waiting room through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
  • Maintains a polite and professional attitude while delivering product to and from all Nevada Business Services Group locations, vendors, and customers.
  • Maintains communications with all Nevada Business Services Group vendors and customers by relaying any questions, comments, or concerns to the appropriate Nevada Business Services Group staff member.
  • Maintains Nevada Business Services Group vehicle by arranging service appointments.
  • Manages the live communication process when making deliveries. Notifies the Transportation Manager or police immediately in an emergency.
  • Package customer orders while ensuring proper quantity, weight, labeling and discounts are applied.
  • Prepare customers online and pre-orders.
  • Provide educational materials and resources for customers as needed.
  • Record specific requests, preferences and notifications for customers using the POS system.
  • Respond to and resolve customer requests, complaints or compliments in person, through email and on the phone requesting supervisor support as needed.
  • Responds to order discrepancies by contacting the appropriate Nevada Business Services Group staff member or vendor and arranging a solution.
  • Responsible for the safe transportation of all products to and from all Nevada Business Services Group locations.
  • Strictly adheres to policies and procedures as well as all traffic laws and represents Nevada Business Services Group as a courteous and safe driver.
  • Additional Duties as Required.
