Eaze is looking for a qualified individual to join our Operations Team as a Director. The Director will optimize the Eaze customer experience by assisting our Depot partners with best practices in fleet management. This includes ensuring the right product is delivered to customers within our targeted service level (ETA’s under 20 minutes). The Director will help report out to our Depot partners on metrics such as shift planning efficacy, shift fill rates, shift attendance, ETA’s, NPS scores, and cost per delivery. The Director will help us structure the approach to measure and communicate these metrics.
The Director will build and mentor the internal team at Eaze that supports recommendations and programs for Depot fleet managers. The Director will also craft a long term broader fleet strategy to ensure that the business can expand quickly as the business grows in California and beyond. The Director will ensure a driver centric voice is in place at Eaze.
The role is based in Venice Beach and is ineligible for relocation assistance. The successful Director, Live Operations will:
Develop and mentor the Field Operations team.
Manage forecast process to help determine optimal recommendations for number of Depot drivers on the road per hour at each Depot partner to maintain service levels (< 20 minutes ETA’s on delivery).
Create and manage metrics for Supply Performance. Be accountable for forecast accuracy. Measure performance indicators to keep delivery operation in line with financial goals (shift fills, shift attendance, Depot driver idle times, Depot and Depot driver NPS Scores).
Own the cost per delivery metric.
Report on shift planning metrics so our Depot partners can make the best schedules. Recommend ideal baseline of Depot drivers and mix of part-time and full-time staff.
Support the Regional Operations Managers (ROM’s) that manage the relationships with our Depot partners with relevant reports and performance metric to enable them to better support the Depots.
Provide consistency in Eaze technology Driver App onboarding presentations at the Depots to ensure a positive customer experience on the Eaze platform.
Report out on cost of acquisition per Depot driver.
Develop Depot driver performance management metrics and retention programs for reporting and recommendation to our Depot partners.
Craft a fleet plan strategy to ensure meeting demand on the Eaze platform (work with outside consultant if needed). Our ideal candidate:
